What I actually use or have used in my cattery:
I like Tofu Cat litter from Pidan or Pine Pellet you can get from ACE, Petco or Tractorsupply Co., they are more eco friendly compared to clay cat litter.
Another, and maybe biggest downside of clay litter is the tracking. I have always found it hard to keep my place clean when I use clay litter.
I also wash water fountain and feeder in disherwasher.
